The Human Services Associate in Arts degree is designed to benefit the student who wishes to gain employment in the fields of human services, social work, or addiction services as well as supporting students who wish to transfer to university in social or behavioral sciences. To earn an Associate in Arts degree in Human Services, students must successfully complete 60 units which includes core courses in the major (6 units) plus an area of concentration (Addition Studies Foundation or Paraprofessional Counselor) which includes 15 units.
