The Cuesta College Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN). The program prepares students for entry-level registered nursing positions in healthcare. Graduates of this two-year program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN). Upon successful completion, graduates become licensed as Registered Nurses (RNs) in the State of California.
Career Opportunities
Comprehensive information about admission requirements, prerequisites, and preparation for the ADN program is available on the Cuesta College Nursing website. Students are strongly encouraged to attend an RN Information Session (dates posted on the website) and to meet with an Academic Counselor for detailed program planning. Additional associate degree general education requirements are listed in the Cuesta College Catalog.
