EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN REFRESHER - Certificate of Specialization

2014 - 2015, 2015 - 2016, 2016 - 2017, 2017 - 2018, 2018 - 2019, 2019 - 2020, 2020 - 2021, 2021 - 2022, 2022 - 2023, 2023 - 2024, 2024 - 2025

This course is designed for EMT recertification or for those who have completed an EMT course and are in the process of obtaining certification. Upon completion, students receive a 24-hour Certificate of Specialization as well as a completed CA EMT Skills Verification Form. This course is taught in accordance with the United States Department of Transportation’s EMT-Basic Refresher National Standard Curriculum, (DOT HS 808 624, September 1996). Students must possess a current Emergency Medical Technician I county issued certificate that has not expired for more than two years, and successfully pass the EMS 102 refresher class to apply for recertification.
